[ To say Lily hates this feeling is the understatement of the century. It's something she's repeated to the point of nausea - the sense of helplessness, failure. To know she'd hurt people she loves just because she was hurt. Knowing also that she still has their support, that they've been hovering around her almost nonstop for days to weeks is somewhat gratifying, but...
There are moments like this, where she's sitting just kind of dead eyed staring at the TV in her den. She's moved around too much today, with school and finals. Everything hurts. She'd rather just go to bed, but she's too stubborn to call someone to help her do as such.
So, she just sits there, trying to not pay attention to the intense pain in her arm and shoulder, looking dead to the world and more than a little frumpy. She's not even been frequenting the Network much, really - if she was honest and open, she'd have to admit she was afraid. Ashamed.
She's already been confronted with and dealt with hurting those around her with her own stupidity. She's scared for how other people that are her friends are going to react when they see her like this.
But, she's also so out of it she's not likely to notice if, say... Her father let someone in. ]
