[(Un?)fortunately, this is one time when even Harper's babbling can't wreck Raye's good mood. She's that jazzed up about this stupid roller coaster. She's only paying attention half the time anyway as, thanks to some clever design schemes, the line is perfectly placed to provide a great view of the cart as it goes blazing past and up and over that first gut-wrenching drop. Along with the chorus of screams and shrieks from the current riders, of course.]

Come on! Don't tell me you've never been on a freaking roller coaster before!

[The cart pulls in and the line moves up as the next batch climbs in for the thrill ride of a lifetime. It's about then that... wait, can it be? It can! They're first in line for the next run, which means....]

Oh, hell yeah, we can get the front row!

[ Harper is aware of the air of terror accompanying them up to the stalls that lead out to the coaster seats. Mostly though, her own growing nervousness is making all the noise seem a little distant. She may even be handwringing as she whirls on Raye, summoning up every ounce of bluster she can manage. ]

O-Of course I've been on a roller coaster before! I'm sixteen, not six!

[ (Kiddie coasters don't count, Harper. Most six-year-olds are probably braver than you.)

Grateful for the movement, Harper shuffles along as the line progresses forward, only to have to stifle a squeak at where they fall. She nearly skids to a stop.
]

You... [ HER VOICE DID NOT BREAK SHUT UP. ] Um. Really want the front?

Yeah, right.

[Not buying that for a second. As Harper stands there wringing her hands in a fit of nerves, Raye's planted her feet right at the gate onto the ride because there's no way she's gonna miss this chance and let somebody squeeze past her to get that coveted from row seat. She's... not really paying much attention to Harper's nervousness. She'd figured she'd be a big wuss about it anyway, but this'll be good for her. Everybody's gotta grow up and get off the kiddie rids eventually.]

In that case, you should know that the front seats are the best ones. Especially for a ride with a drop like that.

[She punctuates her point by pointing to where the current riders are just cresting said drop, hovering in limbo at the very top for a moment before plummeting straight down again.]
